Every user account on a Mac supports different keyboard layouts, which can be set up in the Keyboard system preferences.
The first is the logical layout configured in OS X, and the second is the physical layout of the keys.įor the logical layout, all Mac systems are configured in the same way. For instance, if you originally purchased a laptop with a QWERTY keyboard by use it primarily with the French language, then you may wish to change it to a AZERTY layout.įor such transitions, there are two details to consider.
